I have been painting with watercolor for the past 7 years. I had a revelation while watching the film, 'Julia/Julia' , about the life of Julia Child. Julia Child did not start cooking until the age of 50 and it changed her life completely. I had just turned 50 and realized that the second half of my life was just beginning. After many years of art classes with Lee Anne Hagler I look at every thing differently. Everything seems to be an opportunity to paint.
